A woman in Leicester claims she is facing eviction from her council house unless she gets rid of her micro-pig.
When Donna Davidson, 46, first got Taz he was no bigger than a Jack Russell, tipping the scales at a mere 7 pounds. In the four years since he’s ballooned to an enormous 300 pounds.
Sadly this means the local council now deem him a farmyard animal, and Donna faces eviction unless she moves him to a more appropriate dwelling.
Donna, who also lives with her two sons, two ferrets, two tortoises and three dogs, has struggled to find another property.
‘Looking for a new place to live for all of us is a nightmare,’ she told the Leicester Mercury. ‘I’ve applied to every single council in Leicestershire and had no luck so now I’m searching further afield.’
Donna is hoping she can find a property in a more rural location, as she refuses to give Taz up.
‘I can’t let him go. He’s part of the family.’
