Bring your character to life at Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium (Wired UK)

As first announced at WIRED
Next Generation 2014
, WIRED is teaming up with Andy Serkis’ The Imaginarium Studios to give young actors
and filmmakers a once in a lifetime opportunity: the chance to
bring their character to life in Serkis’ Performance Capture studio. (For more on The Imaginarium’s
groundbreaking work, read WIRED’s exclusive cover story here.)

To be in with a chance of winning, we want you to record an
original one-minute YouTube film performing
as or describing an original character you’ve created. Or,
alternatively, create a PDF storyboard detailing your idea for an
original character.

The three best entries — as chosen by WIRED, Andy Serkis and
the Imaginarium team — will be invited to visit the London-based
studio in Spring 2015, where the winning characters will be brought
to life. A further seven runners up will also win an exclusive
visit to the Imaginarium in 2015.

Good luck!

Entries must be emailed to competitions@wired.co.uk
by midnight on 19 December. Entrants must be aged 11-18 at the time
of entry. Winners will be contacted by email. The judges’ decision
is final.
