Shocking CCTV images show the moment a woman risked her life by lying down on railway tracks in Milton Keynes for a ‘prank’.

British Transport Police (BTP) are trying to identify the woman who was caught on camera at Davenport Lea, Old Farm Park, on April 13.

The woman, who was accompanied by a man, stood at the foot crossing for around two minutes before lying down on the tracks, BTP say.

‘At around 3pm a man and a woman approached the crossing on a stretch of track which runs between Woburn Sands and Bow Brickhill stations,’ said PC Robert Hagan of BTP Milton Keynes.

He added: ‘They can be seen in the images standing and walking on the crossing where they remain for two minutes. At one point the woman sits and lies down on the tracks.

‘This is not only foolish but extremely dangerous behaviour and we are very keen to speak to both of these people.’
