Destiny Beta opens to everyone

Good news if you missed out on a beta code for Destiny: the game is now open for all players to download on both PSN and Xbox Live.

The update comes just a week after PSN players could play exclusively. Worry not though Xbox gamers, as when Call of Duty: Advanced warfare comes out the boot will be on the other foot – with Xbox getting DLC before the PS4.

The other announcement from Bungie today is that this weekend sees the return of “The Iron Banner” – a mode that does away with level restrictions and lets everyone fight in a massive free-for-all. It’ll be available to play during the following times (UK time):

Friday, July 25th:
6:00pm – 8:00pm
10:00pm – 12:00pm

Saturday, July 26th
3:00am – 5:00am
6:00pm – 8:00pm
10:00pm – 12:00pm

Sunday, July 27th
3:00am – 5:00am

It’s just a shame that Destiny hasn’t massively impressed us so far.
