Drop by Dot London’s temporary gallery, the Digital Dot Room in Covent Garden this weekend and you could walk away with a free poster of one of the exclusive Dot To Dot artworks.
You may have seen the dots on the back of our Collector’s Edition* or spotted posters around town. But these dots are meant to be witnessed in all their animated glory. Visit the Digital Dot Room and you’ll see all 20 of the artists’ digital artworks come to life on a suspended dot-shaped cinema screen. Check into The Pass, Covent Garden’s smartphone app and claim a free, exclusive print of your favourite dot artwork.
The digital artworks created for the project include, On Target, a swinging 60s-inspired dot, by graphic designer and illustrator Rian Hughes; Dotted Fox, a seemingly randomly arrangement of smaller dots to creates the image of a walking fox, by Yoni Alter; and Happy Dot, a bright yellow smile evoking the phrase “Turn that frown upside down” by contemporary artist, Stuart Semple.
The Digital Dot Room is next to the Royal Opera House on Covent Garden Piazza until the end of January.
