Getting a free tattoo every week has brightened up the life of this woman and made her tattoo artist something of a hero.

If you’re worried Suzie Barry may run out of space to put the ink on, then don’t.

The tattoos aren’t real and Jason Ward, from Muscle And Ink Tattoo in Hamilton, New Zealand, is actually applying temporary ones.

Barry, who who has Down’s Syndrome, is made to feel as if she is receiving a real design when she goes there each Friday.

She loves it so much she has turned up every week for the previous four months.

‘Why would you say no? You should treat everybody the same,’ Ward, 44, told the New Zealand Herald when giving reasons for his actions.

He added: ‘I didn’t even know her name until Monday, when everything went nuts on the internet but I still don’t know a lot about her.’

He said he was also trying to get her to talk more.

The company’s Facebook page has received a lot of attention since the photo of Barry was posted, including thousands of likes and many positive comments about Ward.

A user said: ‘Wish there were more kind-hearted people in the world.’
