A mother who has been told she will die in the next year is hoping to raise money to fix her teeth so she can smile in one last family photo.

Kelly Murray, 33, suffers from Langerhan Cell Histiocytosis – a killer disease that has caused all her teeth to fall out, her jawbone to rot and distorting her face.

The mother of two is determined to get her smile back so she can take ‘happy’ pictures with her children before she dies.

‘I would love some photographs of me and my boys with me smiling and looking happy,’ said the mum from New Whittington in Chesterfield

‘They would be able to look at them in years to come when I’m not there and remember me like that.’

Murray hopes to have dentures fitted, which would cost her around £3,000.

She was diagnosed with the disease at 20 after suffering two collapsed lungs and went on to be the only person with the illness ever recorded to carry her own children, Bradley, ten and Louis, nine.
