And aside from being a goal machine, Purin has a tonne of other talents, including piano playing, skateboarding, and walking on an exercise ball.
And like many world-class footballers, Purin isn’t without vanity, celebrating her goals in style by standing on her paws.
With Japan playing their first game against Côte d’Ivoire on Sunday, it remains to be seen whether manager Alberto Zaccheroni will regret his decision not to call-up the talented dog to the squad.
