Jennifer Saunders Reveals She’s Writing The Movie

‘Absolutely Fabulous’ followers can put the bolly on ice, as Jennifer Saunders has reportedly confirmed that she’s writing an ‘Ab Fab’ movie.

Jennifer, who wrote the comedy and starred as Edina Monsoon, shared the information on the Hay Festival, in response to reviews.

According to The Independent, Jennifer made the revelation throughout a chat to advertise her newest ebook, confirming that she’s been engaged on an enormous display model of the present for fairly a while.

“I am writing the movie as we converse – it’s within the pipeline,” she stated.

‘Ab Fab’ first hit TV screens in 1992 and three collection have been initially made. Since then, a variety of one-off specials have been created and visitor stars have included Elton John and Kate Moss.

Patsy Stone, performed by Joanna Lumley, was Edina’s associate in crime whereas Julia Sawalha starred as Eddy’s lengthy-struggling daughter Saffron.

Jennifer has previously rubbished claims that she was planning to turn the sitcom into a film, telling Glamour journal: “It won’t ever occur”.
