The internet can often be a dark, scary place, but the #JewsAndArabsRefuseToBeEnemies hashtag proves it can also be a vehicle for hope and peace.

As the conflict rages on in Israel and Gaza, and tensions mount around the world, a slogan of friendship has emerged that is giving hope that peace may one day prevail.

Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies began as a chant at a 300-strong peace rally in Israel back in June, and has since taken on a life of its own, with people the world over using it to show their love and support for each other.
