Kensington Palace visitors give their verdict on Prince William’s new portrait

In case you haven’t heard (in which case where have you been? No really?) Welsh artist Dan Llywelyn Hall has painted a new portrait of Prince William.

And as with his portrait of the Queen last year, there has been some debate as to whether it’s actually any good.

And while the verdict is that a. it looks a bit painting by numbers and b. Prince Williiam has a ‘smelling a fart face’, what we really wanted to know is the word on the street.

So we headed off to find out. And what better spot to head to than Kensington Palace – Prince William’s actual home?

Oh and don’t forget – we want you (and your children) to take on Dan at his own game. Download our paint-by-numbers template (below), do some lovely colouring in (either follow our colour chart or go wild with your own shades) and tweet your effort to us using our #WillsByNumbers hashtag. The best (and possibly worst) pictures will be showcased on the site later in the week.
