An ex-girlfriend of Kim Jong-Un, who was reportedly executed last year, has turned up on state television alive and well.
According to reports, singer Hyon Song-Wol was arrested and killed by firing squad on the orders of the North Korean leader after being accused of making a sex tape.
But it appears reports of her demise from South Korea were somewhat exaggerated after she appeared in Pyongyang on Friday.
Delivering a speech at a national art workers rally, Song-Wol praised Kim’s leadership and promised to ‘stoke up the flame for art and creative work’.
Her surprise appearance follows months of speculation whether she was alive or not.
