A man stole approximately 600 female outfits from schools, including cheerleading uniforms and neon sports bras, and then wore them at his residence, according to police.

The massive haul of clothes, which also included volleyball attire and gym wear, was found at Koichi Hirose’s home in Mihama, Japan.

The 53-year-old was thought to have stolen the garments from around 50 institutions over the past year.

‘I started stealing them in the summer of last year. I did it to wear them,’ he told police, according to the Tokyo Reporter.

Hirose, who works at Wakayama National College of Technology, has been arrested.

Unsurprisingly pupils were not thought to be keen on taking the outfits back.
