Wicked hotel workers ambushed their colleague’s car and completely covered it in newspaper.

The prank was punishment for receptionist Debbie Powell, 49, who hasn’t paid her parking fines.

On Saturday morning co-workers at the Mitra Hotel in Manchester told her to park next to the cathedral in the city centre.

But while she was beavering away her colleagues got to work layering up her Nissan Micra in newspaper and nudie mags.

Debbie made the discovery when she stepped outside for a break.

She told the Manchester Evening News: ‘I just saw this thing and I thought “where’s my car?”.

‘Then I realised it was hidden under all this paper. I had no idea they’d been doing it.

‘They told me “that’s for not paying your parking ticket”. I think it’s hilarious.’

She ordered the pranksters to clean up and used the opportunity to push for a pay rise.
