CCTV footage appearing to show three teenage girls thought to have joined Isis in Syria has emerged.

The girls, believed to be Shamima Begum, 15, Kadiza Sultana, 16, and 15-year-old Amira Abase, can apparently be seen at a bus station in Istanbul, Turkey, in the footage.

The recording is from 17 February, the day the three left their homes in East London.

The trio were then seen at Gatwick airport, where they boarded a flight to Turkey and are since thought to have crossed over into northern Syria.

The families of the girls have pleaded for them to return, believing they may have been ‘groomed’ by jihadists online.
