Not long after the version 6.2 update to the Model S made it impossible to “unintentionally run out of range”, Tesla’s software engineers have a new update that bring a new, one-of-a-kind feature to the EV: Parking ticket avoidance mode.
It makes sense once you have a car that has a bunch of sensors allowing to know what’s going on around it, as well as the ability to drive autonomously (which Tesla calls “Autopilot” to evoke airplanes).
