O2 to finally start selling 4G iPad Air & iPad Mini in the UK

Late to the party, but O2 has announced that from next Thursday it will be selling the iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display on contract.

O2 joins the other major networks in offering a contract. Previously the only way to get an O2 iPad was to buy an iPad separately and add an O2 SIM card… which works out quite expensive.

There’s going to be a variety of tariffs, including £29.99 upfront when you pay £33/month for 5GB of data. And both will also be available on O2 refresh, which splits devices and service charges up so you can (theoretically) upgrade more quickly.
