A gushing review of a Pizza Express in Peterborough has unexpectedly gone viral.

‘My first reaction was ‘wow”, published in Peterborough Today by 17-year-old journalism student Holly Aston, has been praised on social media for its directness and positivity.

Ironically, the article, which was submitted by Holly as part of her journalism diploma, was initially criticised by readers, but as soon as they shared it the positive responses came pouring in – and didn’t stop.

Holly, who took her mum to share the ‘Two for £10′ deal at the restaurant, said she couldn’t believe the response her review had got.

‘It was crazy, I didn’t expect to get anything from it. I just did it to practice my writing skills and gave it to my tutor, who submitted it to the Peterborough Telegraph for me,’ she told The Mirror.

‘I saw some of the negative comments online last night, then today I saw that it had gone viral on Twitter. It was very exciting to see lots of people tweeting about my article.

‘I really had never been to Pizza Express before I wrote the review.’

Holly, who hopes to study journalism at university next year, has since been offered work experience at The Mirror.
