Firefighters responding to an emergency call for a possible house explosion arrived to find… just a very messy house.
Calgary firefighters were called to a home on Sanderling Hill N.W. at around 4:30pm by someone who had seen the house while driving through the area.
But it turned out the house in question was just very untidy, packed with personal belongings and with garbage strewn across the driveway.
‘This is a house that is normally like this, and has been looked at by bylaw officers a few times,’ Calgary Fire Department told Global News.
‘Basically it’s a person who has a messy front yard.’
Firefighters donned hazmat masks to inspect the residence, but the homeowner wasn’t in at the time.
It is as yet unknown if the owner will face charges.
