Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show: “Robert Whitman: Soundies” which is on view at the Pace Gallery’s 57th Street location in New York through May 2, 2015. The exhibition includes an audio component and matter-of-fact wall labels to accompany the “sonically evocative still images,” the idea being that this immersive approach does not privilege the sighted audience over the blind.
