Sky’s NowTV comes to Xbox One

Less than a week ago we reported that Sky’s NowTV service was heading to PS4. In the short time since, the Xbox One has now caught up, also offering the service from today.

The service is Sky’s live and on-demand streaming service for non-Sky customers. This means that you can get everything from Sky’s entertainment channels, to movies and sports all without a dish on the side of your house.

The move arguably makes the Xbox One the most formidable TV viewing device available: In addition to streaming options which is at a parity with the PS4 and others, it supports HDMI-passthrough enabling it to control your TV set-top-box too.
