Book now to discover nature in the city

Know how much nature there is in the London Bridge area? More than you might think in a place associated with sleek modern architecture such as The Shard — and there’s a special month-long campaign to help you discover it all.

To whet your appetite, Revealed 2016 brings a programme of events to Potters Fields Park on 28-30 July, where you can learn how to create cocktails with fresh herbs, make your own healthy make-up with a natural beauty workshop, and craft instruments from vegetables with the London Vegetable Orchestra.

Workshops take place on Thursday and Friday evenings, and on Saturday all day — it’s best to book in advance, although there will be a few places available on the day if you arrive early.

All month long there are art installations inspired by nature all around London Bridge — such as a red phone box reclaimed by plants and flowers made from paint pools.

While you’re trying to find all the artworks, explore the area’s many pocket parks with the Green Pathways app — and learn more about them through augmented reality, by downloading Blippar.

Revealed 2016 events are curated and programmed by Fantasy High Street on behalf of Team London Bridge. They take place at Potters Fields Park from 28-30 July, with installations on view throughout August. Find out more at atlondonbridge.com
