A former maths teacher has described how she would make students queue in her home to have sex with her while her husband was away.
Erica Lynn Mesa, 28, admitted to having sex with several students at Colonial Forge High School in Virginia, USA, last year, saying it made her feel ‘attractive and wanted.’
And the former maths teacher and volleyball coach described how she would invited multiple students to her house while her husband was away, and have them wait their turn in the basement while she had sex with another upstairs.
‘She was not preying on people who had no interest in participating,’ said defence lawyer Mark Gardner.
‘She is not a paedophile.’
Police first began investigating Mesa after receiving a tip-off from administration at the school. They found an electronic trail linking Mesa to several students, including nude selfies she’d sent to a 16-year-old.
Mesa faces a maximum of 22 years in prison when she is sentenced on 21 May.
