Woman on pill gives birth after suffering period pains

A 24-year-old woman who was on the pill and showed no signs of pregnancy –gave birth to a son after suffering period pains.

Nikki Kelly, from Bridport, Dorset, gave birth to baby James on the bathroom floor when fiancée Aaron Swallow was out at work.

She phoned Aaron 76 times in 30 minutes until he finally picked up and found out – to his amazement – he was a father.

Nikki said: ‘”I couldn’’t move I was in that much pain. I felt the need to push three pushes later out comes my son.

‘“Aaron phoned me to say he was on his way and he asked me ‘who’’s that? Who’’s crying?’ and I said ‘it’’s your son’.”’

The 6lb boy was checked over in hospital and staff believe Nikki was between 32 and 37 weeks pregnant.

She said:”I was still on the Pill and having monthy cycles. I was going to the gym two times a week and going bowling.

The doctors said because I’’d kept fit and healthy that’’s why I didn’’t have a bump.

‘“James is perfect in every way and I don’t have a single stretch mark, so I can’’t complain.”’
