This new way of ‘parking’ in central London probably isn’t going to catch on.
Passers-by were confused after spotting a Citroen people carrier balanced on top of four motorbikes in a street in Westminster.
The accident, which coincidentally occurred in front of an eye clinic at 77 Harley Street, saw the female driver suffer minor neck injuries, police said.
The area was cordoned off by police shortly after 11.30am yesterday. The offending vehicle has since been removed.
‘It’s all going off in Harley Street,’ wrote onlooker Liza Mead, who also posted a picture of the scene on Twitter.
Physio Rob Madden, who works nearby, was similarly perplexed by the positioning of the vehicles, adding: ‘New way to park on Harley Street. Any one work this one out!?!? Crazy!’
